Maya's first holiday season was marked by an event which hasn't come around for 125 years--Thanksgivukkah. That's right--the Gregorian and Hebrew calendars aligned to let us celebrate both Thanksgiving and Hanukkah on the same day. Maya was so excited for this unique holiday that she decided to celebrate it twice. We attended two Glantsgivings. We started out the day at Grumpa and BG's house for feast #1, and then migrated to Uncle Gary and Aunt Vicki's house for feast #2. Maya got lots of love from the extended Glant clan, and seemed to enjoy every minute of it. As is true with any great party, we were having so much fun we forgot to take many pictures. Here is what little photo proof we have of Maya's first (and likely only) Thanksgivukkah.
