May happenings

May was a busy month with our busy 15 month old.  We got to check in on Maya's growth at her 15 month check up. She is still rather square, measuring 30 inches for height (40th percentile) and 24 lbs for weight (80th percentile). Her energy level keeps increasing by the day. She's been labeled a force of nature by one of her teachers and a turbo tot by a lady we met at a restaurant. Her vocabulary keeps increasing too. She's added ball, nose, eyes, boppa (grandpa), ganna (grandma), Gigi, Maya, hat, fourer (flower), nana (banana), boo (for dogs), no, yeah, up and oh no to her repertoire. Here's a photo recap of Maya at 15 months...

Her hair is finally long enough (sort of) for pigtails:

She loves wearing hats (preferably dad's):

She is a big fan of utensils. We are not big fans of the mess they make:

She's stands at the back door and begs to go outside frequently:

She likes kicking it with her cousins during sunny day BBQs:

She's already working on her Bags game:

She is obsessed with boos (dogs) and follows them around screaming "boo" at them:

She's turned into a true bookworm:
